Jamshedpur, March 24: The 32-year-old man, Jitendra Singh who is recovering at the Tata Main Hospital after suicide bid on Monday morning has confessed to have killed his wife and two children at his house in Bagbera on yesterday.
The accused has stated before the police that he killed family members before attempting to kill self by stabbing because he was frustrated due to his bad financial condition.
Apart from the financial problems, his relation with his elder brother Rajesh and his family was not good.
Deputy superintendent of police (law and order) Alok Ranjan said that the injured who had sustained stabbing injury due to a suicide bid confessed that he had taken loans from a number of people, but could not repay them. Jewelries of his wife had also been sold out for paying back the loans, but the returns from the sale of jewelries was not adequate enough to clear the loan. Moreover, dispute over his financial problem with his wife Rani had also become unbearable.
The DSP (law and order) said on Sunday night there was a fight with his wife and then only he had decided to kill his wife and two children before killing himself.
