Jamshedpur, March 9: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand will organise a special session titled “Jharkhand @ 25: Looking Forward to 2050” on March 10 at The Alcor Hotel. The programme aims to review the state’s development journey and discuss a long-term vision for its economic growth and transformation.
The session will bring together representatives from industry, government, and other stakeholders to deliberate on future growth strategies for Jharkhand. Discussions will focus on identifying future-ready growth models, supportive policy frameworks, and partnership opportunities that can help the state emerge as a competitive, sustainable, and inclusive economy by 2050.
Participants will also examine what should shape the next 25 years of development for resource-rich and industrial states like Jharkhand, especially in the context of changing national and global economic trends.
The dialogue will explore ways to move from traditional industrialisation to modern growth models based on green manufacturing, circular economy practices, and digital technologies. The session will also highlight the importance of integrating indigenous and local communities as key partners in development, ensuring that economic growth remains inclusive, equitable, and sustainable in the coming decades.
