Jamshedpur ‘Tiranga Yatra’ on March 22 to Honor Martyrs

Jamshedpur: Organizers are ramping up preparations for the ‘Akhand Tiranga Yatra-cum-Martyr Honor March’ on March 22. The ‘Naman’ organization has launched an extensive public outreach campaign across the city to ensure a massive turnout.

Mobilizing the Community

To galvanize residents, organizers have held a series of strategic meetings at key locations. They have already engaged with:

  • Sikh Leadership: Members of the Central, Sakchi, and Tuiladungri Kalgidhar Gurudwara Prabandhak Committees.

  • Labor Unions: Office-bearers from Tinplate and surrounding industrial hubs.

  • Local Neighborhoods: Outreach teams visited Telco, Bhalubasa Jambu Akhara, Golmuri, Burmamines, Baridih Basti, and Govindpur to spread the word.

At the ‘Naman’ office, organizers also sat down with prominent figures, including former Tata Motors Workers Union president Gurmeet Singh Tote, INTUC leader Bijay Khan, youth groups, and local athletes to finalize the march’s route and schedule.

A Call to Action

Amarpreet Singh Kale, founder of ‘Naman’, urged citizens to join the yatra in large numbers. He described the event as a solemn opportunity to pay homage to the nation’s immortal martyrs and honor their supreme sacrifices.

“We need every section of society to participate to make this march grand and historic,” Kale emphasized during the meetings.

Attendees expressed their commitment to join the procession with enthusiasm, promising a significant show of patriotic spirit and collective respect for India’s heroes.
