Jamshedpur: The startup ecosystem in Eastern India reached a new milestone today as the East India Startup Showcase Day concluded at Arka Jain University. Investors from across India expressed a combined interest of ₹4.6 crore in 11 high-potential startups, signaling a massive boost for regional entrepreneurship.
The event was organized by the Navachar Research Incubation and Innovation Council (NRIIC) in collaboration with Arka Jain University, bridging the gap between innovative founders and national venture capital.

Jharkhand Startups Steal the Spotlight
Of the 16 revenue-generating startups that presented their business models, three ventures from Jharkhand received special recognition for their innovation and scalability:
- Logiclens (Musabani): Recognized for strong business potential.
- Oho Living (Ranchi): Praised for its scalable business model.
- Feedco (Ranchi): Noted for high-impact innovation.
These startups, along with eight others, will now move into a second round of intensive in-person evaluations and due diligence.
National Investors Converge in Jamshedpur
The event attracted prominent angel investors and industry leaders from major Indian hubs, including:
- Vijay Bawra (Hyderabad)
- Vartul Jain & Garima Seth (Delhi)
- Arijit Bhattacharya (Kolkata)
- Vishal Nikumbh (Patna)
Additionally, over 20 local angel investors and high-net-worth individuals from Jamshedpur participated, marking a significant step in building a sustainable local investment network.
The Road Ahead: Incubation & Government Grants
Organizers Amar Nath Singh and Kartik Chaudhary (NRIIC) announced that the selected startups will join a dedicated incubation program. This includes:
- Expert Mentorship: Guidance from industry veterans and investment advisors.
- Government Liaison: NRIIC plans to engage with the Jharkhand Government to secure grants and incentives for high-potential ventures.
“This showcase day is a milestone for Eastern India,” the organizers stated. “We plan to hold more investor-focused programs to promote regional innovation on a national level.”
