Jamshedpur, April 8: Near Chepapul of Azadnagar police station area on Friday night Mohd. Azad was shot by bike-borne miscreants. State Health Minister Banna Gupta is taking this matter seriously, yet the accused in this case are still out of reach of the police.
Police say that raids are being conducted to get information about the reasons related to the dispute in the case. The accused will be caught soon.
The police is looking into the whole matter by linking it to the land dispute. Although Mohammed Azad has not given any name of the accused as he says that the accused were wearing helmets and their face could not be seen.
After getting information about the incident, the Azadnagar police had reached the spot and tried to recover the empty cartridges during the investigation, but nothing came to hand. The police say that if the bullet was fired, there should have been empty cartridges as well.
Azad condition has improved significantly and the bullet has also been removed from the shoulder after the operation.
