Jamshedpur: JRD Tata Sports Complex (Furnace) recorded a turnout of over 23,050 on Sunday as it hosted the fourth match of the Indian Super League 5.
Jamshedpur FC played against Chennaiyin FC in front of the jam packed galleries. The enthusiasm was electric as the fans witnessed some outstanding football by the home side.
Football fans started queuing up at the stadium in Bistupur well before 5.30 pm. Crowd cheered for the home side which registered a comfortable 3-1 win over Chennaiyin FC which was its second home win. JFC’s first win at the furnace this season came against FC Goa where they thrashed 4-1.
JFC’s Spaniards Pablo Morgado, Carlos Calvo and Mario Arqu�s scored a goal each for the hosts and the crowd went berserk.
“I just love watching Mario play and the goal he scored today was outstanding. From coach Ferrando to five Spanish players have turned things around for Jamshepur FC this season”, said Arun Pathak, a marketing official.

Girls seemed more excited and were spotted buying the JFC jersey, head gears outside the stadium and clicking selfies.
JFC t-shirts were also selling like hotcakes as citizens in large number specially the school students were spotted buying the jersey from vendors outside the stadium.
