Jamshedpur FC begin training as Owen Coyle leads first session at Flatlet

Jamshedpur, January 25: Jamshedpur FC began their preparations with their first training session under head coach Owen Coyle at Flatlet, as the Men of Steel officially kicked off their build-up for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.

The session marked the start of an intense training camp, with the squad returning to the pitch after regrouping in Jamshedpur over the past few days. The focus in the opening session was on  building rhythm, and laying the foundation for the weeks of hard work ahead.

Speaking after the training session, head coach Owen Coyle expressed his satisfaction with the group’s energy and conditioning.

“The players’ attitude was fantastic in the first training session. Their fitness levels I was very pleased with. They worked really hard and it was a really enjoyable session,” Coyle said.

The head coach also spoke about the familiarity within the squad, having previously worked with several players during his earlier stint with the club and across Indian football.

“It was great to see a lot of the boys that I’ve known from before, obviously from my time at Jamshedpur, and players I’ve worked with over the course of being in India. So yeah, it was a really enjoyable session and I look forward to many more,” he added.

With the first session completed, Jamshedpur FC will now continue their with a series of high-intensity training days aimed at improving fitness, sharpening tactical understanding, and strengthening team cohesion ahead of the new ISL campaign.
