Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer of Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency Amit Kumar has appealed to all voters to cast their vote on 12th May without fail. He said the voters should ensure cent per cent voting in the constituency. He said the administration was doing every bit to ensure participation of all persons eligible to vote.
Kumar, addressing the people in a video message, said it is the solemn duty of all voters to exercise their right to vote to elect the most suitable candidate as MP and strengthen the Indian democracy. He further said that the Election Commission had provided cVIGIL app to all voters to ensure cent per cent compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
The DC said the app can be downloaded from Google Play Store to complain about violation of Model Code by any candidate, political party or any other person. Action would be taken within 100 minutes of lodging of the complaint.
