Jamshedpur Crime: 28 year-old man murdered in Rajnagar

Seraikela, Sep 2: Unidentified criminals killed one Muchiram Bhakat of Kendmundi village in Rajnagar police station area yesterday evening.

The body of the 28 year-old man was found by his elder brother Ghasiram Bhakat in a pool of blood in his room around 8 pm. Ghasiram had just returned home from factory and had entered his brother’s room when he found his brother lying dead on the floor. Muchiram’s head bore deep injury marks and his both palms had deep cuts. Injury marks were also found on his legs, indicating the criminals had used sharp weapons to kill him, sources said.

Ghasiram said he lived with his brother in the same house and that both his parents are dead. He said Muchiram was good in studies and wanted to do a job after completing his academics.

Ichagarh SHO Chandal Kumar said prima facie it appears to be a case of murder. He said an investigation was underway to identify the killers.
