Jamshedpur: ‘Chhath devotees will not face any difficulties’

 

Jamshedpur: The Jilinggoda Chhath Ghat Committee has completed extensive cleaning and preparation work at the Chhath Ghat to ensure a smooth experience for devotees. According to the committee members, more than 30,000 people visit the ghat each year, and the number of devotees continues to grow annually.

The committee has made arrangements for changing rooms, electricity, ambulance services, water tankers for sprinkling water on the roads, free parking, and divers to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees.

Committee President Anand Srivastava and Executive President Arvind Singh said that Chhath Puja has been organized at this ghat since 2014. Over the years, the festival has grown in scale, and this year, more than 30,000 devotees are expected to participate. The entire ghat and surrounding areas have been cleaned, and electricity arrangements have been completed.

Present on the occasion were Santosh Kumar, Ajay Singh, Sonu Mishra, Dhananjay Singh, Vijay Singh, Anoop Singh, Saheb Ram Murmu, Vinod Sharma, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjay, and Simant Anoop Singh.

Anand Srivastava expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the preparations and ensured that devotees can celebrate Chhath with ease and devotion.
