Jamshedpur celebrates 2025’s last Sunday outdoors

Jamshedpur, Dec 28: The last Sunday of 2025 was marked by joy and festive spirit as people from Jamshedpur as well as neighbouring towns and districts visited popular picnic and tourist spots across the region. From early morning, families, groups of friends and children thronged Jubilee Park, Tata Steel Zoological Park, Dimna Dam, Dobo Dam, Chandil Dam, Narwa Pahar, Burudih Dam and Joyda Temple to enjoy the pleasant weather.

The bright sunshine and clear skies created an ideal setting for outdoor recreation. Children were seen playing games and relishing picnic meals, while elders relaxed amidst nature, capturing moments and enjoying leisurely conversations. Several visitors from outside the city said the locations offered a perfect weekend escape and a refreshing end to the year.

The heavy footfall brought cheer to local vendors, who reported brisk business throughout the day. Traffic police and civic authorities were deployed at major spots to ensure smooth movement and safety. The lively scenes reflected a celebratory mood as people from across the region came together to bid farewell to 2025 on a cheerful note.
