Jamshedpur boy clinches silver at CISCE National Karate Championship

Jamshedpur, Nov 6: In a triumphant display of skill and determination, Yash Kumar, a Class 11 student of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES), made headlines at the CISCE National Karate Championship 2023 held at Divine Mercy School in Kolkata.

Competing as the representative of the Bihar and Jharkhand region, Yash Kumar clinched silver medal in the Kumite event within the Under-19 (Boys) weight category of 62-66 kg.

 Yash Kumar’s remarkable performance has not only made the school proud but has also earned him a coveted spot in the School Games Federation of India.

 Yash Kumar’s success is attributed to his dedication and the guidance of Niraj Kumar Yadav from whom he has received training.

Furthermore, Murali Mohan played a pivotal role as the coach of the winning team.

 NHES principal, Paramita Roy Choudhary, extended her heartfelt congratulations to Yash Kumar for his remarkable victory.
