Jamshedpur: BMW Industries organizes three-day free artificial limb camp

Gamharia, June 22: BMW Industries Company successfully organized a three-day free artificial limb cum caliper transplant camp at Narendra Bhavan, Chhota Gamhariya. The camp was inaugurated by Subodh Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of the district, who graced the event as the chief guest and lit the ceremonial lamp. In his address, he emphasized that helping disabled individuals and bringing happiness into their lives is a noble endeavor. He encouraged everyone to consider disability as a precious blessing bestowed upon them by God, as it often brings forth remarkable intellectual abilities and unwavering determination. The ADC expressed his admiration for the camp’s operations and commended the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. He blessed the company with progress and urged other companies to follow suit in aiding the needy. The ADC highlighted the significance of artificial limbs in restoring joy and hope in the lives of disabled individuals, enabling them to embrace life with renewed enthusiasm. He further emphasized that dedicating a small portion of one’s business to serve the less fortunate can greatly improve their lives. Gamharia Zonal Officer, Manoj Kumar, also praised the company’s management for their exceptional dedication to serving those in need and encouraged other companies to step forward. BDO Maruti Minj acknowledged the company’s outstanding contribution in providing artificial limbs, considering it an unparalleled and exemplary act of kindness. The company’s Vice President, Avinash Jha, along with Rashmi Tiwari and Bhuvnesh Pareek, warmly welcomed the guests and shared that the camp aimed to provide artificial limbs to 500 individuals in need. Registration of the needy has been conducted across all three districts of Kolhan. The event witnessed the presence of notable individuals including Shivarya Vikram Bansal, Tapan Padhi, Rakesh Jha, Vikas Rai, Saurabh Adhikari, Anil Kanojia, Ranjay Kundu, and others.
