Ranchi: A felicitation ceremony was organized in Ranchi to honour the elected representatives who won the municipal body elections. The programme was held at Geetanjali Hall under the aegis of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jharkhand unit.
The event was attended by several senior leaders including BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, state president Aditya Sahu, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, MLAs C. P. Singh, Naveen Jaiswal, Ujjwal Das and former MP Sameer Oraon.
Under the leadership of district president Sanjeev Sinha, several BJP representatives attended the ceremony. Among them were BJP district general secretary and Ward No. 18 councillor from Jugsalai Municipal Council Anil Modi, councillors from Mango Municipal Corporation Ravindra Singh Sisodia, Sushila Sharma, Raju Prajapati, Ashok Saw, along with Prakash Joshi, Hemendra Jain and Ujjwal Singh.
Addressing the gathering, party leaders congratulated the workers and said that the success in the municipal elections was the result of the dedication, hard work and public trust in party workers. They urged the newly elected representatives to work with a spirit of public service and accelerate development in their respective areas.
On the occasion, BJP district general secretary and councillor Anil Modi said that such felicitation programmes boost the morale of party workers and inspire them to serve the people with greater dedication. He also expressed gratitude to the party leadership, stating that the honour reflects the collective efforts of all party workers.
