Ghatshila, Jan 23: In a ceremony organized by the Indian Society of Criminology (ISC) and the National Forensic Science University (NFSU), Central Home Minister Amit Shah officially released two books on Tuesday. Both books, published by the American publication house ‘Bloomsbury,’ focus on cyber criminology and include research papers related to Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district.
The event, held in the conference hall of the National Security Forces University (NSFU), was attended by dignitaries including Justice Arun Kumar Mishra (Chairman – National Human Rights Commission), Rishikesh Patel (Minister – Higher and Technical Education and Justice), Harsh Sanghavi (Home Minister, Gujarat), Priyanka Kanungo (Chairperson, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights), and India’s Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla.
Nidhi, a Ph.D. scholar at the Central University of Gujarat, is the author of one of the research papers featured in the books. Her research paper on magical wealth is included in the American publication house’s book ‘Cyber Justice’ under the section ‘Identifying Fine Comrades Appearing of Counter Fighting Syndicates Involving Identified Theft Exploring Operation’ and ‘Bricks: Unveiling the Abyss – The Rise of Deep Fake Technology and Its Implementation for Cyber Crime.’
The official launch of the books took place not only at the Indian Society of Criminology and National Forensic Science University but also at the NFUS Auditorium in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in the presence of Central Home Minister Amit Shah, dignitaries from the National Human Rights Commission, and Gujarat’s Home Minister.
Nidhi, who pursued her education at JGJG High School in Musabani, Jamshedpur, Women’s College in Vanasthali, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University in Ranchi, expressed her joy at the recognition of her research paper and the book’s inauguration by Central Home Minister Amit Shah.
