Jamshedpur: AIWC’s Tiranga Antakshari rings with patriotic fervour

Jamshedpur: The All India Women’s Conference (AIWC) marked the upcoming Independence Day with a spectacular celebration that resonated with patriotic zeal and unity. The event, held at Dayanand Public School, came alive with the vibrant colors of the Indian flag as members engaged in a spirited Tiranga Antakshari.  Ruchi Narendran, a distinguished guest, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while AIWC’s Patron,  Daisy Irani, added her presence to the event, adding to the grandeur.

The heartwarming event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 84 members, who immersed themselves in the joy of the occasion. The welcome address, delivered by  Parul Mangal, set the tone for the celebrations, which were brimming with camaraderie and festivity.

Divided into six spirited teams, each with three members, the participants adorned a kaleidoscope of attire, adding a touch of vibrancy to the event. The festivities commence with the soul-stirring notes of a Patriotic song sung by  Vibha Jaiswal, which resonated deeply with the attendees. This was followed by a captivating patriotic dance performed by  Barsha Chakravorty, which left the audience spellbound.

The highlight of the event, the Tiranga Antakshari, was impeccably hosted by Mr. Anthony, engaging participants and spectators alike. The five riveting rounds kept everyone on the edge of their seats, showcasing the participants’ talents and love for music.

As the day unfolded, the excitement reached its pinnacle with spirited performances and passionate singing. Each team presented their songs with fervour, dancing to the tunes and creating an electric atmosphere.

The event culminated with the announcement of the winners, who stood out in various categories

Winners: Team Awaz Do Hum Ek Hain: Roopali, Manisha Sahay & Shweta Debuka, Runners-Up: Team Vasundhara ka Gaurav: Sarika Singh, Agnese & Pushpalata Best Dressed: Team Tiranga: Baita Kedia, Meena Shroff & Dr. Deepti Rungta Best Name & Act: Team Veerangana: Manju Singh, Prerna Todi & Indira Pandey Audience Favorite: Team: Lata Adesara, Indu & Vandana Mishra Most Sporting Team: Team Hum Hindustani: Preeti Singh, Ritu Singh & Babita Jaiswal

The celebration extended beyond the participants, as  Kiran Mehta,  Archana Shekhar,  Alokananda Bakshi, and  Vinita Shah were lauded for their splendid attire, earning them the coveted title of the “Best Dressed” in the audience category.

Monica Burman, in her heartfelt vote of thanks, expressed gratitude to all involved, marking the successful culmination of a day filled with unity, joy, and patriotic fervor.
