Family planning tips to women

Jamshedpur, July 11: Continuing its social initiatives, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur started the year with community project at Birsa Basti.
A talk was organised on the occasion of World Population Day at Birsa Basti among ladies residing in the slum area. Around 40 ladies attended the session.

Padma Kumari, Jamshedpur branch manager of Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) talked about importance of population control which can help the country to promote, sustain, and enhance development.

She informed the gathering about choosing a family planning method and also made the ladies understand how to avoid sexually transmitted disease.
Inner Wheel members also pledged to help the ladies of the area in any situation.

President of the Club, Alakananda Bakshi, informed about the general health and hygiene. Ladies of the area thanked Mrs Padma and Inner Wheel members for the informative talk.

ISO Vinita Shah, Editor Mani Rani Singh and President Alakananda Bakshi, RCC Jagriti President Mamoni Mukherjere helped in making the programme successful.
