Jamshedpur, May 2: Jamshedpur branch of CA Institute ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) organized a seminar on how to respond to notices under GST and recent developments under GST.
Shubham Khaitan, the chief speaker from Kolkata, told that with the passage of time, the conditions for availing ITC are becoming stricter.
He said that members should be careful about the deficiencies in the notice before drafting a reply on merit. He also pointed out that the scope of scrutiny, investigation and audit are different. Any reply should be framed keeping in view the nature of the matter.
This seminar was presided over by chartered accountant Kaushalendra Das.
More than 80 CAs of the city took advantage of this event. The CAs here got to learn a lot in the seminar.
