Jamshedpur, April 28: Police on Tuesday arrested four more persons and sent them to jail for indulging in flesh trade in Hotel Alcor in Bistupur.

Those sent to jail were Rajesh Mangotia alias Laddu Mangotia, Deepak Agrawal, Rajat Jaggi and Raju Bhalotia.�

Earlier on Saturday, the police had arrested Mangotia, Agrawal and Jaggi from The Alcor Hotel for violating the lockdown and had later released them on PR Bond the same night.� But the three, along with one more person were arrested after city SP Subhash Chandra Jat investigated the case further.�

Earlier, on Monday, the police had arrested five persons, including a girl and sent them to jail. The police are on the lookout for two other women who had reportedly escaped during the police raid last Saturday at Hotel Alcor.

Laddu Mangotia is a welknown railway contractor and a resident of Jugsalai.

The arrest of the five persons was made after the SSP Anoop Birtharay initiated a fresh enquiry into the hotel episode, suspecting those released on PR Bond of being involved in clandestine activities in the hotel during the lockdown period.

Updating on the developments SSP Anoop Birtharay said that they arrested four more persons and forwarded them jail after producing them before a Judicial Magistrate on Monday.

Acting on a tip off, the Bistupur police had arrested three persons from The Alcor Hotel on Saturday.  They were arrested for breaking the lockdown rules but were released the same night after obtaining their PR Bond.  However, as the news took on wildfire proportions the police had to take concrete step.

�The police and administrative officers are carrying out meticulous search of Hotel Alcor premises based on tip offs about the hotel management running a spa in its premises in gross violation of the lockdown norms and allegedly providing other clandestine services. Hotel Alcor has been sealed,� stated SSP Anoop Birtharay.
