Jamshedpur: Chaos was witnessed for several hours at Sonari Domuhani when unidentified anti-social elements pelted stone on an idol immersion procession of Khuntadih Durga Puja Committee Saturday evening.

Several puja committee members were injured in the incident following which the procession was stopped for several hours in protest.

District administration officials rushed to the spot to persuade the puja organizers to carry out the immersion process and assured them of taking stern action against the culprits.
