Jamshedpur, July 1: Guru Gobind Singh High School, Telco, has announced its football team for the upcoming Inter-School Football Tournament being organized by Tata Motors from June 24 to July 9, 2025. A total of 15 players have been selected to represent the school in the prestigious event.
The team will be led by Captain Ankit Kumar, who also serves as the goalkeeper, with Sushant Karmakar appointed as Vice Captain. School sports teacher and team coach, Virendra Kumar Mishra, officially handed over the team to the school principal ahead of the tournament.
The selected players include Nitesh Gorai, Nilesh Mahato, Manish Mahato, Dhruv Mukhi, Sanju Karmakar, Dilpreet Singh, Rakesh Gop, Nishant Karmakar, Ganesha Mukhi, Rajesh Gop, Aryan Giri, Sawan Lohar, and Aman Karmakar.
Guru Gobind Singh High School will play its first match on July 2 against Little Flower School, Telco. The team and coaching staff are hopeful of a strong performance in the tournament. The information was shared by coach and sports teacher Virendra Kumar Mishra.
