Jamshedpur, Oct 21: Students from Govind Vidyalaya showcased their exceptional skills at the Jharkhand State Pencak Silat Championship 2024 held in Ranchi. Among the standout performers, Arshi Maruf brought home a gold medal, significantly contributing to the school’s accolades. Under the expert guidance of coach Gokulanand Mishra, Prachi Mahato and Prapti Mahato also excelled, earning silver medals, while Pradeep Mahato secured a bronze medal.
Additionally, Hindi medium students Kaushalya Kumbhakar and Meru Tudu made their mark by winning a silver medal and a bronze medal, respectively. The remarkable achievements of these students were celebrated during a special morning assembly at the school, where Principal Ms. Krishna Modak honoured the medallists for their outstanding performances. The event was attended by school secretary Abhishek Sharma, Head of HOD Naushad Razia, Senior Coordinator Harvinder Kaur, and the dedicated teaching staff.
