Jamshedpur, Sept 27: A delegation of TGT teachers whose appointments had been nullified by the Jharkhand High Court met former state minister and Jamshedpur East VS constituency legislator Saryu Roy and handed him a letter urging him to take up their issue of employment that had been revoked by order of the Jharkhand High Court. These teachers had been posted in the 13 scheduled districts of the state last year but with the revocation of their appointment, they are in a financial dilemma.
The delegation members told Roy that after their appointments and calculating their salaries, they had provisioned for family budgets, insurance, children�s schooling and availed of housing loans but with the sudden revocation by the High Court, they were shattered and the condition and hopes of their families had been shattered.
After listening to them, the legislator stated that he had already held talks with the state Chief Minister and the Advocate General on their issue. He told the TGT teachers delegation that the state government will take up their issue in the Supreme Court. Roy said, �I have full faith in the Supreme Court and I am confident that you will get a fair judgment.�
