Frank Anthony Elocution: Ayushi and Vanishta of Sacred Heart Convent bag top position

Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Branch of The All India Anglo-Indian Association organised the 10th Frank Anthony Memorial Elocution Contest, on Friday at Loyola School. This year 15 schools took part.

Anoop Birtharay, SSP, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The judges were Fr. Ozzie Mascarenhas SJ, XLRI, Jamshedpur; Dr. Rajeev Dayal, H. O. D. English , P.G.. Dept. Kolhan University, Chaibasa and Anisha Malik.
The winners in Group� I was Vanishta Saarvarna from Sacred Heart Convent School. She spoke on the topic �tears of abortion�

The second place was bagged by Stuti Dash of Little Flower School (LFS). She spoke on the topic �a call for mom & dad�

Manas Kauntia from Loyola School was third. He spoke on �hellow out there�.
In Group- II: Ayushi Marwah from Sacred Heart Convent School bagged the first place. She spoke on the topic �I have got 99 problems and palsy is just by mayson�
Shreya Chatterjee from Little Flower School on the topic �Muderness� was second followed by Riya Singh from Gulmohur School on the topic �Perfect � maia mayor�.


The three judges then placed their views on the topics discussed in the elocution & appreciated the enormous talent in the young participants who are the future of our country.

The Chief Guest Anoop Birtharay then addressed the gathering. He encouraged the participants with his inspiring words. He also thanked the association for inviting him as chief guest for the competition.

On this occasion the All India Anglo-Indian Association – Jamshedpur Branch, also felicitated the top scorers of the ICSE and ISC Examinations 2018.
Priya Kumari of Hill Top School and Swarup Padhi of Kerala Samajam Model School who scored 99% marks in ICSE exam along with ISC topper Abhishek Agarwal of Loyola School who scored 99.25 % were awarded.
