Jamshedpur: Tata Cummins’ Jamshedpur plant has announced block closure from December 27 to 29, marking the company’s first such closure. In a circular issued by plant head Ramphal Nehra, it was revealed that employees will receive 50% of their salary during the block closure, with the management covering the remaining 50% of expenses. Following the closure, a flexible off on December 30 will result in partial production resumption. Work in the plant is set to recommence from January 1, 2024, after the Sunday break.
