The project, which involves the establishment of Krishak Pathshala (Agricultural school) at a cost of Rs 3.17 crores, aims to train 750 farmers from 10 villages in modern and sustainable farming practices.

This will be the sixth agricultural school in East Singhbhum district and the first in Potka block, marking a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of local farmers. The school will provide comprehensive training in organic farming techniques, including beekeeping, mushroom production, horticulture, and livestock rearing such as cows, goats, ducks, and pigs.

Additionally, farmers will receive information on various schemes related to Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and the Co-operative Department, enabling them to access government benefits and support.

He stated, “This agricultural school will prove to be a milestone for the farmers of this area. It will not only increase their income but also introduce them to modern farming techniques and advanced animal husbandry practices.
