Former Chief Minister Champai Soren given warm welcome in home district

Seraikela, July 5: After resigning from the post of Chief Minister, Champai Soren returned to his home district on Friday, where he was warmly welcomed by supporters and party workers at various locations. Despite appearing slightly emotional, Soren reassured his supporters that the fight for their rights would continue.

Speaking to the media, the former Chief Minister described his five-month tenure as satisfactory, stating that he made significant efforts to benefit the people of the state. He highlighted achievements such as passing plans to improve education and health infrastructure and initiating the recruitment process for teachers of tribal and regional languages. Although he regretted not being able to personally distribute the appointment letters, he expressed confidence that the current Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, would continue his work.

Supporters gathered at various spots to welcome the former Chief Minister, showing their strong support and admiration for his efforts and leadership.
