Jamshedpur: Departmental inquiry into the alleged encroachment of quarters allotted to nurses of MGM Hospital has revealed that the complaint was made through forged signatures. It was also found that nurses have refused to take possession of the quarters.
Sources said the inquiry was conducted by the Principal of MGM Medical College Dr AC Akhauri and Superintendent of MGM Hospital Dr SN Jha. They said the signatures on the memorandum given to the state health secretary on behalf of the nurses were forged.
The memorandum was given to the secretary, Dr Nitin Madan Kulkarni, by unidentified persons who claimed that the quarters of nurses were under encroachment. The names of nurses are however correct, said the inquiry report.
