Kolkata, Dec 9 (IANS) Five people were injured including two receiving bullet wounds after a scuffle over a football match involving children turned violent Tuesday in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district, police said.
The incident happened in Canning in the district when a man opened fire from a home-made gun.
“Five people have been injured in the scuffle which ensued following a debatable decision in the match. Two people have received bullet injuries. We are looking for Nawaz Molla and his brother Shafiq who allegedly fired with a pipe gun,” said a police officer.
