Father kills 3 children, hangs himself in Jharkhand’s Giridih

Dhanbad, Mar 12 : In a shocking incident a 36 years old father allegedly hanged himself after killing his three children in Maheshlitti village under Khukhra police station around 26 km away from Giridih district headquarters at late night of Saturday- Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Sanoul Ansari, daughters Arfeen Parveen ( 12), Zaiba Naj and son Safaul Ansari (6).
Dumri SDPO Sumit Prasad under which Khukhra police station area falls, told media persons that it is believed incident might occurred between late night of Saturday- Sunday ( at around 2 to 3 am. But it was detected in the morning today when neighbours of Sanoul Ansari did not get any activity of children inside house.
They sneaked into house and found Sanoul hanging with rope while his daughters and son lying on floor. They immediately informed Khukhra police station about the incident.
The police official said in prima facie scene of the spot suggests Sanoul killed his children by strangulating them and later hanged himself to death. Wife of Sanoul Ansari had gone her maternal house.
Sanoul Ansari was worke as mason and ran ration shop for livelihood.
Bodies were sent to Giridih sadar hospital for post mortem. Later senior police officials of Giridih also reached the spot.
