Jamshedpur: Loyola School, Junior Section, hosted its 66th Annual Prize Distribution
Ceremony in the Fasy Auditorium, on the 26th of June, 2025, to recognise and
felicitate the outstanding achievements of its students. The event was attended by
the school management, alumni, proud parents, and dedicated faculty members.
The ceremony began with the academic procession, led by flag bearer Satyaki
Chatterjee, followed by the school management and all the awardees.
The students of the Junior Section showcased their talents through various
performances, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The ceremony was graced by Kishor Kaushal, former SSP of Jamshedpur, as
the guest of honor.
The first edition of the ‘Junior Loyolean’, was released by the school management
and the former SSP. The Junior Loyolean is a testament to the creativity and hard
work of the students and teachers. It is a collection of articles and photographs
chronologically presented thus showcasing the activities that took place in the
Junior Section throughout the academic year.
During the ceremony, Mrs. Parvinder Dhanjal, was felicitated for completing 25
years of dedicated service as a teacher in the Junior Section.
The Award Ceremony recognized 280 students not only for their excellent
academic performance but also for achieving goals in line with the mission of the
school in being men and women for others.
For the first time, students from the Foundational Stage were awarded prizes in
categories such as Smiling Star, Buddy With a Big Heart, Tiny Turbo, Little
Inigo, Magic Fingers and Smart Speaker. These awards aim to encourage and
recognize the talents and efforts of the little Loyoleans.
The special award for the best girl student of Std 5, the Nibhanani Bhattacharya
Award was bagged by Amaira Sawa.
The prestigious Junior Loyola Award/Chitrajeet Ghosh Memorial trophy was
awarded to Faizan Ashraf and the Runners Up Award/ S P Dubey Memorial
Trophy was won by Aaradhya Das & Aadi Rushabh Sheth.
Rev. Fr. Vinod Fernandes S.J. PhD, Principal, Loyola School addressed the
parents and emphasized on the Jesuit values of compassion, empathy, care,
concern and striving for ‘magis’.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Vineeta F. Ekka, Vice
Principal of the Junior Section, expressing gratitude to all those involved in
making the event a memorable one.
