Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Excel India Model School, Birsanagar, celebrated Diwali by organizing a clay lamp decoration competition for the junior group and a Rangoli competition for the senior group. The event aimed to encourage creativity and festive spirit among students.
Children enthusiastically participated, decorating lamps and designing colorful rangolis based on different themes. School Principal Mamta Kumari narrated the story of Diwali and advised the students to celebrate the festival with joy and safety.
In the clay lamp decoration competition, Abhay Singh Bhumij of Class 3 secured the first position, followed by Patang Soren of Class 4 in second place and Deepti Soren of Class 4 in third. Other participants included Aarti, Manisha, Payal, Anisha, Anjana, Sonakshi, Kiran, Ankit, Ashish, and several others.
The event was attended by all teachers, students, and staff members, who appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the participants, making the celebration memorable and festive.
