Jamshedpur : The engineering students, who were observing hunger strike in favour of eight -point demands, including grace marks to be increased to ten, ended their agitation after receiving an assurance.
City DSP K N Choudhary along with Prof Rajeev Kumar assured the students that their demands would be met soon.
The students who were observing strike in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office agreed to end their agitation.
It may also be recalled that two students Bijendra and Awdesh were also sent to MGM hospital after their condition deteriorated.
