Ranchi: Election Commission has ordered shifting of election booths from 139 buildings in Jharkhand so far.
The chief election officer of Jharkhand PK Jajoria said the election booths were shifted to other buildings at many places in order to comply with the guidelines of EC.
He further said that a total of 208 cases of Model Code of Conduct violation have been registered so far.
There have been 1498 raids and 648 arrestings in the state. Fine worth Rs 45 lakh were collected so far.
