Jamshedpur: District rationing and supply officer of East Singhbhum Naveen Kumar Saturday replied to queries of steel city residents regarding ration supply. He said the white ration card is issued to people living above poverty line while PH and Antyodaya ration cards are given to poor and BPL families. He said the beneficiaries of white ration cards are only given kerosene.
Vishal Kumar of Mango asked about Ayushman Yojana benefits. He was told the Ayushman Yojana benefits were given to PH and Antyodaya card holders free of cost. White card holders are to be given scheme benefits on the basis of premium, said the rationing officer.
Many citizens complained about irregular ration supply. They were asked to make written complaints to the ration office.
Replying to questions regarding new ration cards, the rationing officer said the applicants should avail the online application facility.
Pramod Kumar Tiwary, a resident of Sarjamda, complained that he was not getting LPG subsidy. He was advised to complain to the sales officer of the LPG distributor.
