Jamshedpur: A delegation of shop owners of Dimna Road met the senior superintendent of police (SSP) of East Singhbhum Amol Venukant Homkar on Friday and demanded protection against the students of MGM Medical College.
They alleged that the medical students of the said college often harassed local residents and misbehaved with traders, girls and women.
They said a judicial probe should be conducted into the recent incident of assault on local women and traders by the medical students.
The traders demanded arresting of all accused medical students. They had recently observed bandh against the incident of attack by medical students.
