Devendra Singh raises Article 370, temple issue during campaign

Jamshedpur, Dec 2: BJP candidate from Jamshedpur West Devendra Nath Singh contacted voters in Sakchi, Kadma and several other localities of his constituency on Monday. He also participated in padyatra. He said the Central government had put an end to Article 370 and had also put in efforts that paved way for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He said the BJP had proved that it was the only party which works for the nation. He exuded confidence that the BJP would fetch more than 65 seats in the ongoing Assembly elections.

Singh met workers near L Town Gate of Tata Steel in Sakchi around 6.30 am and apprised them about the achievements of Central and state governments led by BJP. He said the double-engine government of BJP had implemented numerous development projects and welfare schemes. He sought voters� support for a strong and stable BJP-led government in Jharkhand.

Singh later visited Ramnagar and Gandhi Basti in Kadma, Bistupur Diagonal Road, Gurudwara Basti, Ranikuder, Bistupur L Road and N Road.

Gita Singh, wife of Devendra Singh, visited Sankosai Road No 5, Ekta Nagar, Khadiya Basti and Kedar Bagan with BJP workers.

Devendra Singh held a meeting with the residents of Nirmal Nagar, Sonari, and urged them to support him in the election.

The campaigners included Vijay Tiwary, Rita Mishra, Neeru Singh, Chhotan Mishra, Sunil Dixit, Manish Pandey, Seema Jaisawal, Sandhya Nandi, Renu Sinha, Shobha Srivastava and Sushila Sharma.
