Jamshedpur, May 8: In the first match of the day of JSCA Inter district U-19 womens tournament Deoghar girls beat Jamshedpur girls by 5 wickets.
After winning the toss Jamshedpur decided to bat first and scored 91 for 4 in 20 overs with Sana Saif scoring 40 while Shikha made useful 35 runs for her side.
Iram Khan took 2 for 8 while Jyoti Goswami took 1 for 9. Chasing 92 to win Deoghar girls took their side to victory in 17.5 overs with Suvecha scoring 20 runs while Garima made 27, Jamshedpur bowlers Mamta Paswan took 2 for 8 and Ashwani Kumar took 2 for 25. Man of the match was awarded to Garima.
West Singhbhum beat Dhanbad
In other one sided match West Singhbhum beat Dhanbad by 10 wickets, batting first Dhanbad made 65 in 20 overs while girls from West Singhbhum reached home in 16 overs winning the match by 10 wickets.
Ranchi beat Hazaribag
In another one sided match of the day Hazaribag won the toss and elected to bat where Ranchi beat Hazaribag by 10 wickets. Batting first Hazaribag scored 50 in 19.5 overs which was gunned down by Ranchi girls in just 7.3 overs.
Bokaro beat Simdega
In the last and the fourth match of the day Bokaro won by 14 runs against Simdega. Batting first Bokaro scored 98 for 6 in 20 overs. Simdega girls just managed 84 for 7 in 20 overs. Man of the match was awarded to Aarti Kumari.
