Jamshedpur: A debate cum quiz competition was organized at Public Welfare Urdu High School in Azadnagar on Sunday under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The programme was chaired by the school president Abdul Rauf Ansari. The programme began with the national anthem.
Addressing the event, Ansari said the purpose of the Swachh Bharat campaign is to spread awareness among all individuals regarding cleanliness. He motivated the participants to give their best in the debate and quiz contest.
The winners of the drawing competition were Zoya Naaz, Afsana, Sana, Neha and Arfa while the winners of speech contest were Nazia and Mantasha. Rabia, Parveen and Mantash won the quiz contest.
Earlier, the students took out a morning procession to spread public awareness on cleanliness. People were requested to keep their households and neighbourhood clean.
Among those present during the event included Srikant Modi, Nehal Ahmad, Umar Farooq, Masoom Ahmad, SK Mishra, Shahjahan Khatun, Rashida Begum and Salma Khatun.
