Jamshedpur: Dacoits made a bid to rob a jewelry shop at Chandil Chowk Bazaar between 4 am and 5 am today. The dacoits had broken open the lock of the shop and were attempting to break open the shop when the owner saw the CCTV in his room and immediately sent his shop assistant to the store.
On seeing him, the dacoits fled firing shots in the air to scare people. The Chandil police arrived on the scene and started investigation. The cops found two cartridges in the shop premises.
