DA cut for Tata Steel employees

Jamshedpur, Apr 1: The latest figures released by the All India Consumer Price Index indicates that dearness allowance value has decreased for Tata Steel employees which is affecting the workers dearness allowance. 
In such a scenario nearly 6000 employees working in the new series grade will have a loss of 33 points. They have suffered a loss of Rupees Three per point  leading to a deduction of Rs 99 while those under steel wage have suffered loss in dearness allowance between 19.70 per cent and 0.50 per cent and their dearness allowance has a loss of maximum Rs 418. 
The new reduction would come into force from the salary of April 2021. 
The revision would be done only after the statistics of dearness allowance for the month of June 30 is announced. 
The employees in S-1 grade whose maximum basic salary is Rs 29050 will have a deduction of Rs 145 while those in the S-17 grade having a maximum basic salary of Rs 78115 will have a deduction of Rs 390.57. 
Senior associates whose minimum salary is Rs 62030 will have a deduction of Rs 310.15 and those having maximum of Rs 83365 will have a deduction of Rs 416.82. 
Those in the D-grade having maximum of Rs 47,420 basic will have a deduction of Rs 237.10 and those in D-12 grade and having a maximum of Rs 62610 basic will have a deduction of Rs 313.05. Those in ministerial staff grade  having basic of Rs 50,375 will have a deduction of Rs 25.87 and those in V-1 grade with a maximum basic of Rs 74,525 will have a deduction of 372.62 while those in V-20 grade employees having maximum of Rs 85720 will see a deduction of Rs 428.60.
