Ranchi: A meeting was held with the Building Construction and Road Construction Department under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Sajal Chakraborty today at Project Building.
Chakraborty directed the Building Construction Department to identify land for Nepal House Secretariat. He also instructed to identify chunk of land and build fresh vegetable centre, canteen restaurant, recreation club for the Secretariat employees. He focused on maintaining neat and clean building premises and planting trees for healthy environment.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the status of various projects running under Building Construction and Road Construction Department. He also enquired about the progress of various road projects.
Principal Secretary, Building Construction and Road Construction Department, Rajbala Verma presented the budget provisions of 2013-14, 2014-15 of both the Departments. She gave the details of important schemes which have been completed, under construction and plans for present financial year of BCD.
