Jamshedpur, July 29: A Cross Country run was organised by Tata Steel Sports Department to mark 117th birth anniversary of JRD Tata at JRD Sports Complex. City Superintendent of police Subhash Chandra Jat (IPS) was Chief Guest of the morning function.
A Virtual Walkathon 2021 was also held where in the participants had to choose their walking area as per their convenience following the new normal guidelines. Total 327 participated in the event.
Moreover a carom competition was organised for the coaches at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. 16 participants were part of the competition.
Cricket Coach Mithun Mukherjee, Volleyball Coach Ananto Santra and Badminton Coach PGS Murthy were declared the winners. A Push Up competition was also organised for coaches and trainees in the evening.
