Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh), June 11: Former Jharkhand Minister and senior Congress leader Banna Gupta, appointed as an observer under the ‘Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan’ by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), chaired a crucial district-level meeting in Chhatarpur aimed at strengthening the organizational structure of the Congress party at the grassroots level.
The meeting was held at Rajiv Bhawan, the District Congress Office, and the Chhatarpur Parishad, and was attended by a wide range of party leaders, including PCC observers, the district president, current and former MLAs, Lok Sabha candidates, PCC members, frontal heads, block and mandal presidents, senior officials, and dedicated party workers.
Prominent participants included District President Mahaprasad Patel, Bada Malhera MLA Sadhvi Ramsiya Bharti, Dabra MLA Suresh Raje, Amit Dubey, Rudra Pratap Singh, former Chhatarpur MLA Alok Chaturvedi, former MLAs Naati Raja and Neeraj Dixit, and Lok Sabha candidate Kavita Singh Maharani.
Other key attendees included Congress functionaries Sanjay Dubey (Block President), Anitya Singh (State Secretary), Sheelu (District General Secretary), Lokendra Verma (Youth President), Ashok Mishra (State Member), Kesu Raja, Arvind Goswami (Former Urban President), Deepti Pandey (Working President), Pushpendra Kushwaha (Youth Congress Block President), and many others, including legal cell members, Seva Dal leaders, and grassroots workers.
During the meeting, Banna Gupta emphasized the need for unity, communication, and active engagement at the booth level, urging leaders and workers to take the Congress party’s message to every corner of the district. He encouraged all present to work collaboratively in preparation for upcoming elections and to reinforce the party’s presence in rural and urban areas alike.
