Ranchi, Jan. 22: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday said that henceforth the villagers will determine the development of their villages. Now high officials of the government are going to the villages and designing as well as determining the mode of development with the villagers.
Addressing the people of Hafua village in Chatra on Yojana Banao Abhiyan, the CM said that the developmental schemes of villages will be ensured by the villagers. On the occasion, he also inaugurated the newly built Circuit House.

Das said that survey of Indira Aawas scheme will be conducted soon and all homeless villagers will be provided with homes by 2016. He told the villagers that if any government official asks for bribe, people should call at 181 and the matter will be probed within 24 hours.
According to the Chief Minister, the villagers have to be positive and optimistic. Three lakh homes have been selected to be given the facility of toilets by 2019. A sum of Rs. 12,000 will be given to each selected house owner for building a toilet.
In addition, benches and desks will be provided to all schools by March 2017. Up-to-date laboratories will be built in all high schools of the state and 10,000 teachers will be appointed to impart quality education. Teachers have been given five day special training to impart quality education in the schools.
He also said that 406 doctors have been appointed in the state. According to Das, all B.Sc. pass students will be trained in degree/ diploma and connected with ANM. Moreover, conflict and addiction-free villages will be given Rs. 1 lakh as award. All villages will be made high-tech by December 2016.
In order to make people skilled for self-employment, skill development training will be imparted in all areas after every 6 months.
He said that now the schemes will be made at lower level on the priority of the villagers. Laying stress on water conservation, child education, skill development and self-employment, he said that ration cards will be made for all the families of the state.
The villagers conveyed the CM with their problems. The CM said that food processing centers and tomato production are being promoted in the state. The poor will be given cows free of cost.
Health minister m Ramchandra Chandravanshi, principal secretary, Labour and Employment Department secretary Mridula Sinha, Chatra DC and other officers were present on the occasion.
