Competitions including quiz, photography, model making, best out of waste and khazanchi etc. for the students were held during the day-long event. 170 students representing 12 Schools of Jamshedpur participated in different events.
The Chief Guest during the occasion was Purushottam Narayan Mishra, Ex. Deputy Director, NML who is presently serving as the HOD of ECE in Al Kabir Polytechnic College.
The judges of the events were Aftab Alam and Veena Sheela of Al Kabir Polytechnic College.
Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco was crowned the overall champion of the fest winning three of the seven events during the competition. Team Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco won the first position in quiz contest ‘Jigyasa’, Treasure Hunt ‘Khazanchi’ and Circuitry. They was awarded the runners-up trophy in Explore contest and Animax.
In the photography contest ‘Click’ Valley View School won the first prize. Kerala Samajam Model School won the first prize in contest Working Model ‘Innovation’.
In Best out of the Waste Valley View School was declared the winner. Explore contest saw Jusco School Kadma win the first prize while in Animax Kerala Samajam Model School was first.
The contribution of Principal Mikki Singh, Tr. Rajni Dubey, Dibyojyoti and the faculty of Science Department helped the fest to be a successful one.
