Jamshedpur, May 22: As observation of the martyrdom of the fifth Guru of Sikh Panth, Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj Chabeel (sweetened water) was distributed among people in general near Kamani Centre in Bistupur on Monday, May 22. Sherbet and gram were distributed among wayfarers. The Chhabeel was organized by Satinder Singh Bunty and Praneet Singh with their families.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, MLA Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy, Bistupur PS OC Anjani Singh, BJP leader Dharmendra Prasad, former NSUI State President Parvinder Singh, BJP leader Arvinder Kaur and others visited the Chhabeel distribution site and joined hands in distributing Sherbet and grams among people. Mass prayers were offered before Chhabeel distribution commenced at 11 am and continued till 2 pm. the Chhabeel also came as respite for people from the unbearable summer heat.
