Gamharia, Sept 19: One Vikas Das, accused of several crimes, died after reportedly falling from terrace in Timania village of Seraikela late Wednesday night. He was enlarged on bail only a week ago, police said.
Police said the deceased had sustained critical injuries after he reportedly fell from the terrace of a house belonging to his friend and BJP leader Sagar Lohar. Several people had gathered on the terrace to celebrate Vikas� exit from jail. They drank as many as 30 bottles of liquor. During the party, Vikas went to a corner of the terrace to answer nature�s call and fell down after losing balance. An injured Vikas was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The kin of the deceased have alleged that Vikas was pushed from the terrace by his friends.
