Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar Tuesday said the BJP had performed well in the recently held Assembly elections in five states. He said the party had registered an incline in total vote percentage which is a good sign for the 2019 elections.
Kumar said the decline in BJP�s seat share in the Assembly elections was the result of anti-incumbency factor. He admitted that the reduction in number of seats was not favourable for the party. He said local issues played a decisive role in the Assembly elections.
�We take the responsibility of the results and congratulate the Congress. We will review our performance and adopt measures to improve it. We are sure the BJP will win the 2019 elections with landslide margin under the leadership of PM Modi,� said the BJP president.
