Jamshedpur, Aug 4: BJP�s Ulidih unit team in the course of its cleanliness drive at Dimna Basti, Repeat Colony, Hill View Colony, Swarnrekha Project area in Kalikanagar and other places found blocked drains and garbage dumps that were elements of serious health hazards especially during monsoons. The team was also informed that bleaching powder had not been sprayed in the areas.
The unit�s general secretary Pravin Singh made a list of the hazardous health conditions the residents of the areas were living with and along with his delegation met the MNAC Special Officer demanding cleaning of drains, removal of garbage and sprinkling of bleaching powder. The Special Officer assured the BJP Ulidih delegation that prompt action would be taken to clear the problems.
The BJP Ulidih unit delegation comprised Unit president Amrendra Paswan, general secretary Pravin Singh, vice president Shankar Banerjee, Dharmendra Prasad, Rakesh Singh Lodhi, Mahesh Singh, Manoranjan Singh and others.
